Mare Lindo is an antique casona fully remodelled from the gut and upgraded to host 3 independent studios. After a few years of managing vacation rentals in Progreso area, Mare Lindo is our first own project by YV. We took in consideration all the dos and donts in preparing a home for hosting vacation rentals.
Some of the features you will surely appreciate from the photos, but some others more discrete will make your stay here a pleasant one.

The space

Large studio of over 470 square feet. Separate bedroom. Open concept with a spacious kitchen & bathroom as they were the original ones in the casona. It has a king bed.
 

Scooters are available to use freely, please enjoy them and do not miss visiting Progresos broadwalk by the sea. The malecon starts on 60th steet running west from there. It goes underneath the pier and west for another good length. Visiting in the evenings is one of our favorite things to do in Progreso... You will see locals, kids, tourists, runners, marquesitas, tacos... There is something for everybody there :)
They are stored inside the bench on your private terrace as well as the hammock. Enjoy!

Mare Lindo is in a priviledged location, it sits in a residential neighbourhood, mix of expats and locals, a few blocks east of the Malecon, Progresos iconic boardwalk. And yes! Just a block from shore :)
Laundry a couple blocks away. Many restaurants and drugstores that would deliver to your door.

    Studio #1 - January 2023 The unit was comfortable, clean, modern, had everything we needed to feel at home, WIFI worked very good been a plus as I need it for work; an easy walk to Malecon, Lavandera a few steps to few of restaurants etc. Booking and communication was great with Pamela from day one. We would highly recommend this wonderful apartment.

    this is a GORGEOUS unit, very thoughtfully and artfully designed for a most comfortable stay. the location was great, a short walk to the boardwalk and a block from the beach. the pool on the property was a nice treat. attention to detail and responsiveness were top notch.

    Expect a great experience in a lovely home away from home at Mare Lindo. This review is for apartment 1. It is spacious and comfortable, beautifully built and decorated. The bedroom windows are good quality to block street noise at night, and AC is quiet. Be sure to conserve electricity or you might exceed the 7 kWh per day allocation.Nice pool, great for a cooling plungeb and the hammock is a great spot to read or nap. Kitchen has all new appliances and supplies, so is very nice for the cook. The beach is only a block away, and the malecon is about .5 mi walk. Attentive staff comes to clean the grounds 2x per week.

    Unit # 1 was perfect for us and as advertized in the listing Property was kept in good condition The location was within walking distance to the beach and the downtown area.

    Great spot! Close to the beach and DiDi/Uber is cheap to get anywhere. Very nicely renovated space and the most comfortable bed I’ve found in Mexico in 3 months. Loved the pool area and the hammock was so relaxing. As with most places in Mexico, there is some traffic noise and lots of dogs barking but I found it part of the experience, and you don’t hear it much in the bedroom. I loved it so much I’ll be back later this month.

    It was a nice stay! Def on a bit of a noisy street, it was difficult to make phone calls for work with the windows open. And there is no full length mirror, if that’s a deal breaker for you ;P
